A conversational, AI-driven onboarding ecosystem designed to replace static training with adaptive, personalised learning experiences at scale.
THE CHALLENGE
SaaS organisations struggle with high new-hire attrition and long ramp-up times due to generic, information-heavy onboarding. The key challenge was to create a system that adapts to individual roles, knowledge levels, and learning preferences—while remaining scalable across teams and locations.

MY ROLE
Lead Learning Experience & Interaction Designer (Concept to Prototype). End-to-end ownership from research and experience design to AI conversation architecture, UX prototyping, and usability testing.
Instructional & Experience Design
Hybrid ADDIE + UX methodology: stakeholder research, persona development, and adaptive learning architecture based on real user needs. Designed personalised learning paths driven by continuous AI calibration and performance data.
AI & Conversation Design
Developed a three-phase conversational framework (calibration, guided learning, independent support) with structured prompt engineering, contextual awareness, and transparent recommendation logic to build trust and engagement.
UX & Interface Design
Designed a conversational-first interface in Figma, including dashboard, adaptive learning paths, AI chat, and skill visualisation. Applied progressive disclosure and real-time feedback patterns to reduce cognitive load and improve usability.
Technology & Integration
Prototype built using Figma, GPT-4, Claude AI, and n8n. Integrated with Slack and LMS environments, leveraging RAG-based knowledge systems and xAPI tracking for analytics and personalisation.
THE RESULT
Delivered a fully interactive prototype demonstrating a scalable AI onboarding model, targeting a 40% reduction in time-to-productivity, increased knowledge retention, and significantly improved new hire experience through personalised, conversational learning.
